Kris Wenning, one of the founders of Wennawoods Publishing, is the artist who makes the designs and physically constructs the necklaces seen below. Each one is one of a kind and different from any other. The beads are generally European in origin from the 17th & 18th centuries, although a few are early 19th century African beads. Kris strings the necklaces, then braids the sinew into tough chains and finally constructs different kinds of clasps. We don't know how long we will be able to offer these to you, because it is getting harder and harder to obtain these old beads. So if you see something that you like, get it now: there is only one of each variety!!
